Self-Driving Bus Testing in Barcelona

In the center of the city of Barcelona, passengers can ride smoothly on a small bus without a driver. This innovative initiative has become possible thanks to the collaboration of a French automaker and a company specializing in the creation of autonomous transport vehicles.

The bus itself travels along the streets of modern architecture, automatically stopping at designated stops, switching gears, and managing traffic. Testing of a new small driverless bus model is being conducted by the "Renault" company in Barcelona. The initial prototype of the autonomous bus was presented at last year's open championship of France.

Currently, the testing of the transport vehicle is taking place on an open road in Barcelona, and later the bus will be tested in the town of Valence in France and at Zurich airport in Switzerland. The driverless bus smoothly and seamlessly travels along a circular route with a length of 2.2 km with four stops in the center of the Spanish city.
