Cugat, whom Guardiola trusts to treat his players, including the Ballon d'Or star Rodri, spoke about the reasons for his return to work. He released several copies of the book for his friends before heading to another operation at 9 p.m. and said: "I will never retire. You only start resting when you die, and I am better when I work." Cugat joined his friends immediately after finishing his surgical operation shortly before 7 p.m. on Monday and admitted that he would not read his autobiography, adding: "I only read books that heal me, and this won't help me recover."
