In Andalusia, recent rains have led to the drainage of a large number of reservoirs, as they cannot retain all the water brought by the storm. In total, 47 reservoirs of the Guadalquivir Hydrographic Confederation are releasing water, many of them at below one cubic meter per second.
In Córdoba, out of the 16 reservoirs, all are draining except for Arenoso. In Seville, of the 11 reservoirs, all release water except for Puebla de Cazalla, while those in Aracena and Zufre do so at below one cubic meter per second. Additionally, there are warnings for the reservoirs of El Gergal, Melonares, Huesna, and Pintado.
In Granada, all 11 reservoirs are draining, although at low levels, and there is a yellow warning for the Fresneda reservoir. Meanwhile, in Jaén, out of the 15 reservoirs, all are releasing water except for four. The rain caused by the storm 'Laurence' has led to this drainage situation in the region.
Notably, there is a red warning for overflowing at the Agrio reservoir, with an exceptional level or flow. Additionally, there is monitoring at the Bembézar reservoir and observation at Sierra Boyera. In total, six reservoirs are draining below one cubic meter per second, with Fco being the one that releases the most water, at 4.28 m3/s.
