Detention in Drug Trafficking Operation in Carlet

The Civil Guard in Valencia conducted an operation dubbed 'Legateros' leading to the arrest of a 29-year-old woman for drug trafficking in Carlet. She was found dealing heroin and cocaine in a squatted apartment, often in the presence of her young son. The operation aimed at dismantling drug selling points raises serious concerns about the safety and well-being of the community, highlighting the issue of drug addiction and trafficking.

The Civil Guard of Valencia has carried out Operation "Legateros" with the aim of combating drug trafficking and dismantling illegal sales points. On this occasion, they detained a 29-year-old woman who was trafficking heroin and cocaine in a drug house where she lived with her underage son, who witnessed his mother's illicit activities.

Investigations began in early summer 2024 in Carlet, a neighborhood affected by the trafficking of prohibited substances. The civil guards confirmed that the woman had significant skills for drug trading, despite her age, creating an environment of insecurity due to the presence of consumers.

The sales point managed by the woman was known for allowing minors to witness the transactions and handling of drugs. The detained woman's parents had a history of similar activities, and it was discovered that minors were used to alert about police presence.

After a search of the property on October 3, quantities of cocaine and heroin were seized, as well as materials for distribution. The Civil Guard pointed out that retail drug dealing negatively impacts the environment, generating additional crimes such as violent thefts. Specifically, an active sales point was discovered in an occupied house where criminal activities were carried out.
