The municipal fire department of Córdoba carried out an unusual rescue last Saturday. The little dog named 'Perla' got trapped between some rocks after entering through an opening that was between them. Apparently, she was chasing a rabbit. The firefighters were dispatched to the location to save the animal, which was about two meters from the exit.
Members of the Fire Extinguishing and Rescue Service (SEIS) used tools, including a percussion drill, to free the little dog. The rescue took place on the grounds of the old Villarrubia Sugar Factory around 6:30 PM. In a video posted by the official account of the municipal fire department, the good work done in the rescue operation can be observed.
After the firefighters' efforts, 'Perla' was successfully freed and was in good health.
