Members of the Central Park of the Fire Extinction and Rescue Service (SEIS), located in Vista Alegre, intervened in the extinguishing of a fire that broke out in a house in the Parque Figueroa neighborhood of Córdoba on Friday night. According to official sources from SEIS, the alert about the fire was received around 8:20 PM, and all available personnel at the Central Park headed to the scene.
The fire affected a ground-floor apartment in one of the buildings located on Pasaje Marino Vierna street, which led to the evacuation of part of the block. Unfortunately, a woman died inside the home before she could be rescued by rescue teams. At least two people were injured and had to be taken to the hospital due to various degrees of burns.
In the words of SEIS authorities, the quick response of the personnel to the emergency was highlighted. The investigation into the causes of the fire is ongoing to determine the origin and circumstances of the tragic event.
