The government of Córdoba has reported on the progress of construction of a new health center in the Naranjo-Mirabueno district. As of this week, work is 21.1% complete. The project, with a budget of 3.62 million euros, is a long-awaited infrastructure for local residents. Authorities noted that this center will help balance and improve healthcare for the capital's residents and other areas. Mayor José María Bellido emphasized that the modern facility will serve over 7,500 people. Construction began earlier this year and, despite a delay caused by spring rains, is scheduled for completion in mid-2026. Andalusia's Government Delegate, Adolfo Molina, stated that the project aligns with the regional strategy to modernize the public healthcare network. The building will feature ten adult consultation rooms, two pediatric ones, an emergency area, and services including dentistry and social work. Currently, partitioning and installation works are underway.
