A 60-year-old man died in a fire in a house in Córdoba, while a woman was injured with second-degree burns on her face, back, and arms, and her son emerged unscathed, according to the Local Police.
The incident occurred at 6:05 AM in an apartment on Avenida Tenor Pedro Lavirgen in the Moreras neighborhood, where neighbors alerted about smoke coming from the building. In addition to the Local Police, firefighters, National Police, and the Emergency Medical Services 061 responded to the emergency.
The injured woman was treated at the scene for burns and transferred to a medical center, while the National Police is investigating the circumstances of the incident. The woman's son was able to escape the incident unharmed.
