The Secretary General of the PSOE of Castilla y León, Luis Tudanca, has emphasized the importance of reciprocity and mutual responsibility in municipalities and in Spain to achieve agreements in minority governments, highlighting cities such as León and Palencia. According to Tudanca, this is essential to obtain the approval of the Budgets at both the regional and national levels.
In this regard, Tudanca has urged the Junta of Castilla y León and the Popular Party to establish a constructive dialogue that allows for progress in negotiations. Although he does not consider it a 'condition' for abstention in the approval of the Budgets, Tudanca has called on the Junta to take steps towards an agreement that benefits the community.
On the other hand, the Vice President of the Junta, Francisco Igea, has expressed his willingness to reach an agreement with the PSOE, highlighting the possibility of effective political action. Although the Soria ¡Ya! party has also shown interest in collaborating, its three representatives are insufficient to achieve a majority with the PP.
In this context, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Carlos Fernández Carriedo, has underscored the importance of addressing the problems and needs of Castilla y León in negotiations. Despite the differences, Carriedo has expressed the PP's willingness to seek an agreement that benefits all provinces without privileges or favoritism.
Finally, given the possibility that the political equation in the region could allow for the approval of the Budgets, both the PSOE and the Junta have shown a willingness to engage in dialogue and negotiation to reach an agreement that benefits all of Castilla y León.
