The prestigious luxury clothing brand Louis Vuitton is close to finalizing a deal to dress the players of Real Madrid. According to reports from the Spanish newspaper Relevo, in the coming days, the French company will sign a commercial agreement with the team, allowing players to showcase their luxury garments in most of their activities off the field, including moments before matches and during travels.
Currently, Real Madrid has a commercial agreement with another luxury clothing brand, Zegna, but this new deal with Louis Vuitton is expected to take its place. Despite this change, the agreement with Adidas for the production of the team's jerseys will remain unaffected.
It is noted that the collaboration between British footballer Jude Bellingham and Louis Vuitton was the first indication of a possible partnership between the Spanish club and the luxury fashion brand. With the signing of the agreement, the relationship between both parties is expected to be further solidified.
Meanwhile, in a recent Instagram reel published by Louis Vuitton, Jude Bellingham can be seen alongside luxury garments and jewelry from the brand, in a display of authenticity, ambition, and dedication, both on and off the field. The same video mentions the inclusion of the player as a new "Friend of the House," in a translation to Spanish.
Louis Vuitton is emerging as the new sponsor of one of the most important clubs in the world, being recognized as a "global sponsor" of Real Madrid. Despite these agreements, to date, the team still has not excluded Zegna from the "sponsors" section on its website. However, this new partnership is expected to bring about a change in the attire of Real Madrid players in the near future.
