In the Community of Madrid, there are currently around half a million self-employed workers who are surviving or trying to. Yesterday, the regional president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, fully entered this battle, announcing a substantial increase in financial aid for this group. These measures will be included in the general budget of the Community of Madrid, to be presented tomorrow, Wednesday. Specifically, there is an increase of 17.7% in the allocation for aid, which means raising funds for this purpose by 5.6 million euros, to reach a total of 37.1 million. On the other hand, direct aid for new self-employed workers will increase by 40%, reaching 5,600 euros per beneficiary, or up to 6,200 euros for special cases, such as starting a business in a small municipality. President Ayuso described the situation faced by the self-employed as 'unacceptable,' stating they 'always have to pay for the government's whimsical ideas.'
