At the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2025 held in Madrid, Spain, Nuevo León (NL) actively participated with strategic activities to highlight its offerings and opportunities in global markets. The state government communicated that this approach helped position Nuevo León as a reference point in both tourism and economy.

During the inauguration of FITUR 2025, Maricarmen Martínez Villarreal, Secretary of Tourism, emphasized the importance of the fair as a key platform to establish alliances and foster innovation in the tourism sector. Throughout the first day of activities, strategic relationships were consolidated with Grupo Meliá, which will contribute to the promotion of Nuevo León as an international destination.

Additionally, the state was projected as a tourism and economic hub in Latin America, reaffirming its leadership in promoting its tourism and economic offerings and establishing itself as an innovative and competitive destination globally.
