Cocido Madrileño Route 2025 Has Begun

The Cocido Madrileño Route started on February 15 in Madrid, covering 41 restaurants. Cocido lovers can enjoy delicious dishes until March 31.


The Madrilenian stew route has begun in the capital and extends through bars and restaurants across the region. This gastronomic initiative offers the opportunity to taste this typical Madrilenian dish at a variety of establishments with prices ranging from 14 to 39 euros, depending on the location and the day of the week.

Participants include renowned venues in Madrid, as well as establishments from Toledo, Segovia, and Guadalajara. The list of restaurants includes options such as Malacatín, Los Arcos de Ponzano, Nuevo Horno de Santa Teresa, La gran tasca since 1942, among others. Each place offers its special version of cocido madrileño, and diners have the chance to vote for their favorite.

The Madrilenian stew route will be active until March 31, allowing lovers of this emblematic dish to enjoy various culinary proposals. Additionally, those who participate in the voting during this edition will enter a raffle to win one of the 100 cocidos at stake, as well as another gastronomic raffle valued at 2,000 euros at the end of the route. It is an opportunity to explore the culinary tradition of Madrid and enjoy its winter gastronomy in different establishments across the region.
