Puerto Rican Ozuna and Colombian Beéle have united in a creative partnership, materializing their «brotherhood» in a collaborative album titled ‘Stendhal’, released last Friday. They promise it will «not be the first or the last» time they collaborate.«Stendhal is not the first time nor will it be the last, this is already a brotherhood that has nothing to do with music, it has to do with art, with who we are,» Ozuna said to the media at the album's presentation in Madrid on Tuesday.«We really connect too much because music is our sport, what makes us happy,» added the «negrito de los ojos claros».Beéle, Colombia's current biggest star, confirmed that «the love is mutual»: «We are brothers separated at birth,» stated the artist of ‘La Plena 5 W Sound’.«We are having a great time, this is an experience we wanted people to enjoy, to connect with us and with Stendhal,» added Ozuna. Both artists present an album that they had already previewed together at the Movistar Arena in Bogotá during one of Beéle's eight concerts, where Ozuna made a surprise guest appearance to perform «Ale,» the opening track of the album, thus announcing the collaboration that has now materialized into a full project. The artists had already worked together on «Frente al mar (Remix)» and a few days before the release, they presented another album preview: «Enemigos,» produced by Colombian Ovy on the Drums and conceived as a tribute to Aventura's 2006 classic «Los infieles».When asked if this album will surpass «Frente al mar,» the 23-year-old Colombian singer only says: «Everything we do is to break it.»The album's sound blends urban pop, melodic reggaeton, and Caribbean and afrobeats references characteristic of Beéle, with Ozuna's rhythmic and commercial imprint. The result is an album traversed by warm and cadenced sounds, with lyrics focused on romance and the different facets of love.
