Fernando Rielo Foundation Opens Call for XLVI World Mystical Poetry Prize

The Fernando Rielo Foundation has officially announced the call for entries and sponsorship for the XLVI World Prize for Mystical Poetry, an international contest designed to promote works that express the spiritual values of the human being in its deepest religious significance. Poets from around the world are invited to submit unpublished poetry collections in Spanish or English that convey spiritual and religious values.

The works must be of single authorship and have a minimum length of 600 verses (lines), not exceeding 1,300. Poems must be original and cannot have been published, in whole or in part, through blogs, social media, websites, or any other means of communication. They also cannot have participated in previous editions of the prize or be pending a decision in other contests.

Applicants must send a single document in PDF format to the email address premiomundialpoesiamistica@rielo.org. This file must include a cover sheet with the author's complete personal data, including postal address and telephone number. For submissions by post, the date of the postmark will be taken as a reference. The deadline for submitting entries is formally October 15, 2026.

The jury, chaired by the President of the Fernando Rielo Foundation, will issue its final and unappealable decision during the first half of December 2026. The prize for the winning work consists of an indivisible award of 7,000 euros, a commemorative medal, and the publication of the poetry collection. While intellectual property rights will remain with the author, the editorial rights for the first edition will belong to the Fernando Rielo Foundation, which may also consider publishing an anthology with outstanding poems from all participating works.

Non-prize-winning works will be destroyed to guarantee confidentiality and the rights of the participants.
