The PSOE and Más Madrid have requested the appearance of Alberto González Amador in the Madrid regional Parliament to explain his relationship with the chief of staff of President Ayuso. The first Plenary of the year is scheduled for February 6, and both political forces have already prepared their arguments, focused on Ayuso, her partner, and her chief of staff.
The PSOE plans to question Ayuso about whether her chief of staff received communications from her partner, referred to as 'private citizen Alberto Quirón,' directly from the president's phone or from some of her closest collaborators. Additionally, they are calling for the immediate resignation of Ayuso's chief of staff, Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, with whom they have had previous disagreements due to the judicial situation of her partner.
Óscar López, newly appointed Secretary General of the PSOE of Madrid, has urged his party to intensify its opposition to the regional president and to more strongly defend Sánchez's policies. Sources from the party in Madrid warn that Rodríguez's continuation in a public position cannot be prolonged due to allegedly lying in a judicial case.
The left in Madrid is preparing for a parliamentary offensive when activity in the Assembly of Madrid resumes after the January holidays. They intend to question Ayuso about her knowledge of her chief of staff's activities in relation to Alberto Quirón. The Regional Congress of the PSOE of Madrid is scheduled for February 1 and 2 in Leganés.
