The President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has offered the region's cooperation to Donald Trump's Administration, expressing hope that all of Spain will unite as allies. She highlighted the importance of maintaining good relations with the United States for security and economic reasons and because they share many common values.

In an informational breakfast, Ayuso congratulated Trump on his inauguration and expressed her government's interest in strengthening ties with the United States. She criticized the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, for what she considers Spain's isolation in the international context.

The president referred to the legal case affecting her partner and reported a theft from his defense lawyers. She also mentioned the new Secretary General of the PSOE of Madrid, Óscar López, showing skepticism about him. Regarding her partner, Alberto González Amador, Ayuso defended his innocence in a possible tax fraud case and criticized what she perceives as a state operation against him.

In relation to the change at Telefónica, Ayuso praised the work of José María Álvarez-Pallete and expressed concern about what she considers a campaign against him and Indra by Pedro Sánchez's government. When asked about the possibility of being a candidate, Ayuso stated that she would like to be one, but she expressed doubt about the persistent campaign of personal destruction she feels she is subject to.
