Violence Erupts in Madrid with Street Gang Fights

A violent confrontation broke out in Madrid involving youth gangs, leading to several arrests. Witnesses reported threats and saw the struggle unfold, causing panic among bystanders.

Five young people, including three minors, were arrested in Villaverde after gathering with knives and switchblades, and subsequently fleeing from the police. The agents discovered that the young people had hidden three knives and a cutter in nearby bushes. The victims suspected that it was a Latin gang and were threatened while being attacked.

According to eyewitnesses, at least one of the detainees was a minor. The events occurred last Monday on the streets of Tetuán. Witnesses reported that the alleged attackers wore typical clothing of criminal youth gangs. After a chase through streets and markets, some of the attackers were captured, including an 18-year-old who was wearing a red belt.

It is suspected that the detainees belong to a Latin gang, as it is believed they were hunting down boys while shouting "¡Baja tres!", a common humiliation signal used by certain organizations. The assault took place in a cap store when several young people intimidated three friends with the mentioned term.

After fleeing, some of the attackers were captured thanks to the cooperation of neighbors. The authorities managed to detain several of the participants, who continued to beat the victims with belts. Security cameras from nearby businesses captured images of the assault, confirmed by eyewitnesses. The victims filed reports, and the municipal agents gathered information from eyewitnesses.

The swift police intervention led to the detention of several individuals involved in the incident, which is already under investigation. The alleged criminals will face charges of assault and threats, highlighting the danger of this type of behavior in the community.
