Agustín Laje, recognized as one of the main political influencers today, reiterated his criticisms towards the 'woke' movement, the 2030 Agenda, and feminism during an event organized by the Neos Foundation in Madrid. Despite this, Laje acknowledged the persistence of these processes, pointing out that 'these processes are very long'.
During his intervention, Laje included the feminist movement within the 'woke' spectrum, stating that 'the 'woke' ideology has become a meme; in Argentina being feminist was sexy'. Before an audience of more than 500 people at Espacio Pablo VI, Laje received applause and cheers when he opened the event titled 'The End of 'Woke' Culture'.
The political scientist optimistically mentioned recent results in Europe, expressing that they have given him hope about a possible decline of 'woke'. He also had critical words for the Popular Party, calling their actions in Europe 'pathetic' and pointing out alliances that reflect decadence.
In the front row were prominent figures from Spanish politics, such as the former president of the Community of Madrid and several members of Vox in the Assembly of Madrid. Referencing Pedro Sánchez, Laje described him as a 'political monster' and emphasized his survival ability.
Laje also addressed the issue of cisgender identity, provoking laughter and applause by defining it as 'the normal person'. Regarding feminism, Laje equated it with the idea of 'dying single' and described the feminist woman as 'unkempt'.
At the close of the event, the 'influencer' stressed the importance of not getting frustrated despite the challenges. Agustín Laje, who has been one of the main drivers of Milei's ideology since 2005, concluded by reminding that there is still much work to be done in Spain.
