
At the age of 36, the ex-star of Real Madrid, legendary Brazilian Marcelo, has completed his professional career. A video where Marcelo himself communicates about this was published on his official accounts on social networks. The video captured a moment at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
Addressing the fans, Marcelo stated: "My love for football began with my grandfather, who wanted me to become a professional footballer, and did everything possible for that." He joined Real at the age of 18, and Marcelo proudly declared: "I am here, and with pride I say: I am a true madridista."
Then Marcelo added that with his supergroup he created a family, spent 16 seasons, won 25 titles including 5 Champions Leagues, and became one of the team leaders, spending countless memorable nights at the Bernabeu. He also emphasized that "Real" is a unique club to which belonging is an incredible feeling.
He noted that representing the colors of the Brazilian national team from a young age was an honor for him, and he will always be proud of his Olympic medals and the Confederations Cup.
