Brazilian forward Endrick, who was poised to become one of the next stars in world football, has reportedly agreed to join France's Lyon on loan from Spain's Real Madrid, where he has accumulated very few minutes.
"Olympique Lyon has agreed to a loan deal to sign Endrick from Real Madrid," revealed Italian transfer specialist journalist Fabrizio Romano in a publication accessed by the Argentine News Agency. He also clarified that "the loan is until June 2026 and there is no purchase clause in the agreement, as Endrick will return to Real Madrid in June." Finally, he noted that Lyon "will pay 50% of his salary and will have a specific clause for the number of games guaranteed."
Endrick arrived at Real Madrid in mid-2024 from Brazil's Palmeiras, where he had emerged as a major future star in world football.
However, since his arrival at the "Merengue" club, he has been far from living up to such a high standard and has been losing ground more and more.

During his first season at Real Madrid, Endrick played 37 matches, scoring seven goals and providing five assists. However, in the current campaign, he has only played three games and has not contributed to any goals.
Endrick's main goal for 2026 is the World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, although to be able to participate, he will have to raise his level significantly.
