Moroccan international star Achraf Hakimi, right-back for Paris Saint-Germain, is reportedly open to a return to his former club, Real Madrid. According to journalist Ramon Alvarez de Mon from Radio Marca, Hakimi is prepared to take the necessary steps to make the transfer happen. De Mon wrote on his official X account: "Achraf Hakimi wants to return to Real Madrid and is ready to take the necessary steps to complete the deal." The journalist also noted that despite Hakimi's current contract with the French capital club, which runs until 2029, being an obstacle, the improved relationship between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain could play a pivotal role in facilitating negotiations. Reports suggest the relationship between the two clubs has improved after Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid, and Qatari Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of Paris Saint-Germain, reconciled following the collapse of the European Super League project. Hakimi, who progressed through the Real Madrid academy, left the royal club to join Inter Milan after a successful loan spell at Borussia Dortmund. The possibility of Hakimi's return may also be influenced by the presence of French international striker Kylian Mbappé at the Santiago Bernabéu, due to the close relationship between the players. However, despite speculation about his desire to return to Madrid, Hakimi is currently focused on finishing the season strongly with Paris Saint-Germain, with the team aiming to retain their Champions League and Ligue 1 titles.
