Another highlighted match was the spectacular comeback by Real Madrid, who managed to turn around a two-goal deficit to win 5-1 against Borussia Dortmund. Surprisingly, Atlético de Madrid fell 1-3 to Lille, marking their second consecutive defeat in the Champions League.
Manchester City had a resounding victory by thrashing Sparta Prague at their own stadium. After three matchdays, nine teams remain unbeaten, while six have lost all their matches. Feyenoord defeated Benfica from Portugal 3-1 in a match without the presence of Santiago Giménez.
Regarding the qualification format, the top eight teams from each group will advance directly to the round of 16, while the ninth to twenty-fourth places will play playoffs to access the next stage. Champions League activity will continue on November 5 and 6 with the fourth matchday.
