Carmen Maura confessed that she maintains a minimal connection with Pedro Almodóvar, the director with whom she created great Spanish classics that became international hits. "I met another person, the Pedro of today is a different one," she stated. La Chiqui asked about her current relationship with the famous director, and the actress responded: "We did very beautiful work together. Now each of us has our own path; we no longer feel like working together, or at least I don't," she concluded. "We are getting older and changing. There are many actresses who would love to work with Almodóvar. Working without proper resources toughens you up. Well then, on with it!" Maura said with a laugh, and added: "I will watch his movies, I like that he is successful, and if we cross paths at a festival, we greet each other and that's it," she assured. Finally, the actress recalled that her best experience working with him was during the films that did not have large budgets.
