The Spanish newspaper "Sport" reported on the interest of the Spanish club Barcelona in the transfer of English Liverpool star Luis Diaz.
According to the newspaper, Barcelona's sports director Eric Abidal held official negotiations with the player's agents to assess the possibility of signing Diaz during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The cost of the deal will not be less than 75 million euros, which requires Barcelona to allocate no less than 30 million euros for the completion of the deal.
Diaz is 28 years old, and he is one of the Liverpool stars alongside Egyptian Mohamed Salah, Dutchman Virgil van Dijk, and Englishman Alexander-Arnold, whose contracts expire at the end of the current season.
