The delegations of FC Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao arrived in Jeddah on Monday evening to participate in the Spanish Super Cup. This tournament, held in Saudi Arabia for the sixth time, will take place from January 7 to 11 at the Enaya Stadium ('The Shining Jewel'). In addition to these two teams, the competition will also feature Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. Both teams were greeted by thousands of fans at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah before heading to their hotels. On Wednesday at 11:00 PM UAE time, the teams will play the first semi-final match. The winner of this match will advance to the final to face the winner of the Madrid derby, which will be held on Thursday. The total prize money for the new edition is 23 million euros, an increase of 3.5 million euros compared to the previous year.
