The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has launched an investigation into the behavior of Spanish coach Rafael Font de Mora (57), who currently works with the world No. 68 tennis player, Peyton Starns. The investigation was initiated following a complaint from former world No. 1 Pam Shriver and another unnamed player. However, the report refers to former professional tennis player Megan Shaugnessy. Mora began working with her when she was 13 in the 1990s, and at 14, she moved into his home. He was 25 at the time. The coach married the tennis player when she turned 19. He stated that their relationship was not romantic until she reached the age of 18. Her parents twice tried to remove their daughter from the coach's influence, but to no avail, which ultimately led to them cutting ties with her.
