Buenos Aires, December 2 (NA) -- A 34-year-old Argentine man stabbed his 29-year-old Argentine wife to death in a dramatic incident that took place this afternoon in the Spanish city of Alicante, in the Valencian Community. The tragic event occurred at a home on Cánovas del Castillo Street, in the Carolinas Altas area, where the man attacked his wife, stabbing her about ten times, and then took his own life by hanging himself on the balcony. A relative, also an Argentine, found the two bodies upon arriving at the scene and immediately alerted the National Police, but by the time the officers arrived, both had already died. According to Noticias Argentinas agency, the couple was in the process of separation, as reported by acquaintances, but they were still living in the same home. They were parents of a two-year-old child, who is currently in the care of a relative. Additionally, the Government Delegation against Gender Violence confirmed that there had been no prior complaints from the woman about incidents of this nature.
