According to the Argentine News Agency, the home team took the lead with goals from forwards Pere Milla, in the second minute of the second half, and attacker Roberto Fernández, in the 38th minute, while for the visiting team, defender Leandro Cabrera scored an own goal two minutes later. With the win, the team from the city of Barcelona is sixth, with 21 points and in the qualifying zone for the UEFA Conference League, while Sevilla is eleventh, with 16 points. The first goal of the match came in the second minute of the second half, with a pumped-in cross from the right by forward Tyrhys Dolan for Milla, who headed it past the opposite post to make it 1-0. At the 38-minute mark, attacker Roberto Fernández received the ball with his back to the goal, meters from the area, turned and put in a fine shot to the near post, which took a deflection and entered through the left angle of goalkeeper Odisseas Vlachodimos. The team coached by Argentine coach Matías Almeyda managed to pull one back in the 40th minute of the second half, with a cross that was flicked on at the near post by Marcão and defender Leandro Cabrera ended up pushing it against his own goal in an attempt to clear.
