In particular, the province of León presented the campaign 'The Routes of Romanesque', proposing a tour of temples from 19 Leonese towns. The inclusion of wine tourism through the accessibility project 'La Ribera Accesible' in the Ribera del Duero Wine Route has also been highlighted, aiming to make these experiences available to the entire population inclusively.
On his part, the mayor of León emphasized the record year in tourist visits that the city had in 2024, confirming the good work in tourist promotion and the professionalism of its services. Moreover, the coach of CD Leganés, Borja Jiménez, has been recognized as an ambassador for the Ávila brand, praising the city as an ideal place for outdoor sports practice.
The tourist offer of the three UNESCO World Heritage cities in Castilla y León: Ávila, Salamanca, and Segovia, was jointly presented. These cities highlighted their historical and cultural importance in an event where tourist alliances were also established, such as the joint promotion between Salamanca and Jalisco to attract visitors to both destinations.
The visit to the Castilla y León stand was also highlighted by the president of the Cortes, Carlos Pollán, who emphasized the importance of the union of all provinces of the Community to strengthen its tourist position. The fair was the setting for the presentation of new projects, such as the themed train on Holy Week in Valladolid, which will add to existing tourist initiatives in the region.
