Córdoba closed the winter transfer market yesterday with several signings at El Arcángel. The club confirmed the arrival of Rubén Alves and Gabriele Corbo. Alves comes from Tenerife seeking more playing time, while Alberto del Moral joins the team from Real Oviedo until the end of the season.
Jon Magunazelaia and Alberto del Moral were the first signings of this market. Aiming to strengthen the midfield, Córdoba also brought in Pedro Ortiz from Sevilla. To reshape the defense following the departures of Martínez and Lapeña, the club signed two players. Genaro, despite being on the exit ramp, will fulfill his contract at least until the end of the season.
The Andalusian team has also decided to bet on Gabriele Corbo, a player with experience in the lower categories of the Italian national team and in MLS. With five signings and four departures, Córdoba closes the winter market. Jude Soonsup-Bell and Kuki Zalazar were some of the players who left the team in search of more minutes in another league.
In this way, the club aims to strengthen different lines to face the remainder of the season with guarantees. With an eye on consolidating the new signings and ensuring that the departing players find the space and continuity they seek in other teams.
