After the game became a draw, the blue-garnets pushed forward in search of a winning goal, which they secured with a distant shot from Lamine Yamal. At the end of the game, Ferran Torres scored his double, establishing the final score at 4-2.
With this historic recovery, the Catalans reached 60 points and returned to the top of the Spanish La Liga by goal difference, considering that Real Madrid stumbled into first place, having won against Villarreal 2-1.
