The immersive experience of Tomorrowland has welcomed over 40,000 visitors from 56 countries since its debut in Barcelona in December 2023. In this virtual reality adventure, participants dive into the magical universe of one of the world's most iconic festivals. This event, which offers a journey through twenty years of Tomorrowland's history, transports the audience through the incredible trajectory of the festival, which has locations in various cities around the world such as Sao Paulo, Atlanta, and Alpe d'Huez in France. The immersive experience of Tomorrowland, now taking place in Madrid until January 12 at the WiZink Center, is designed for people of all ages and offers a unique journey of approximately 45 minutes using cutting-edge technology.
In the words of Jordi Sellas, artistic director of Layers of Reality, who collaborated in creating the immersive experience of Tomorrowland in Madrid, this event has been an achievement, especially considering the rich cultural and entertainment scene of the Spanish capital. The experience immerses attendees in a "giant metaverse with 600 square meters," one of the largest in Europe, for over 45 minutes, taking them to a magical world created by Tomorrowland throughout its two decades of history.
The director highlights that the Crystal Room of the WiZink Center is a perfect space to host this experience, given its connection to music, art, and entertainment in general. Attendees have the opportunity to explore digital installations that reveal the key values and characteristics of the festival, as well as immerse themselves in unique virtual reality experiences such as 'Planaxis,' 'The Book of Wisdom,' or 'The Elixir of Life.' This joint initiative between the teams of Tomorrowland and XR Music Hub has brought to life an innovative and unique proposal through the latest technology.
For those interested in experiencing this, the exhibition is located at the WiZink Center and will remain open until January 12. Visiting hours are Monday to Friday from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Sundays and holidays from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Admission prices start from 18.50 euros, with special rates for children starting from 14 euros.
