The president of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García Page, has announced that Kings Felipe and Letizia will visit Toledo on February 12 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the National Hospital of Paraplegics. The announcement took place during a press conference in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where García Page was alongside the Canary Islands president, Fernando Clavijo, after signing an agreement.

The Health Minister, Jesús Fernández Sanz, highlighted the excellence in care and support provided at the National Hospital of Paraplegics, emphasizing the human quality present within the center. He stated that this quality is fundamental to achieving the high standards of care that distinguish the institution.

Regarding the visit of the Kings, Fernández Sanz expressed his enthusiasm, mentioning the busy agenda of important commitments they have and the pride that their presence brings to the commemoration of 50 years of this emblematic center on a global scale.
