In Valladolid, this Saturday the first exam of the selection processes for positions of Entry Secretary, Intervention-Treasury, and Secretary-Intervention of municipalities is taking place. Of the 824 candidates taking the exam in Valladolid, 20 also qualify for the disability reserve quota. This city is one of the nine locations nationwide where this first test is held, in an effort to decentralize the venues and make it easier for candidates to take the exam without the need for extensive travel.
A total of 1,845 positions have been announced for these roles, of which 1,566 are for Secretary-Intervention, 200 for Intervention-Treasury, and 79 for Secretary. The Government's Deputy Delegate in Valladolid, Jacinto Canales, highlighted the Government's effort in the Public Employment Offer and its commitment to providing municipalities with the necessary positions reserved for National Habilitated Officials.
Canales pointed out the importance of the work of National Habilitated Officials in the daily progress of municipalities, especially in those with smaller populations, as is the case for many municipalities in the province of Valladolid. Nationwide, more than 5,000 candidates are taking the exam in this process, and of them, 131 are applying for one of the 111 positions in the disability reserve quota.
