La Liga President Opposes Dani Olmo Registration

The president of La Liga, 62-year-old Javier Tebas, expressed his outrage regarding the registration of FC Barcelona player Dani Olmo, 26 years old. According to Tebas, this transfer violates the financial fair play rules in Spanish football. However, he did not specify which exact rules were broken. He also added that Real Madrid and Manchester City also violated the same rules in the past. "We see that Barcelona continues to register new players, even despite the complicated financial situation of the club. It seems they simply ignore the rules," Tebas said. This statement was made after Barcelona announced the signing of Olmo on December 21. Olmo transferred to Barcelona from Leipzig for a total of around 75 million euros.
