CSS to Pay Debt to Resident Doctors

The General Health Council reported that the National System of Medical Residences (SNSMR) will pay an outstanding debt to resident and intern doctors corresponding to the year 2021. This decision was made after it was recognized that the debt was causing complications in payments to these health professionals.

To settle this debt, a process was established wherein each resident and intern must fulfill a series of supporters signed by their supervisors. These documents are necessary to complete the procedure and ensure the payment corresponding to the shifts and bonuses owed.

According to the statement issued by the General Health Council, the regularization of these payments will benefit thousands of resident and intern doctors across the country, providing them with the certainty that they will receive the appropriate remuneration for their work during the year 2021.

In the words of a spokesperson for the General Health Council: "It is essential to recognize the effort and dedication of resident and intern doctors, who play a crucial role in the healthcare system. With this measure, we seek to ensure that they receive fair and timely payment for their work."
