The company Piñero has successfully measured the carbon footprint associated with its participation in the international FITUR 2026 fair. This milestone confirms the effectiveness of the environmental impact reduction policies implemented by the organization. The measurement was carried out using a technological platform developed by Trueworld, which uses more than 20 indicators to certify the Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) of the stand's construction. As part of the "360° Sustainability" strategy, total emissions of 19.74 t CO₂e were recorded, representing a 29.6% reduction compared to initial projections. During the event, a digital counter allowed the impact from materials, energy consumption, and staff travel to be visualized in real time. Subsequently, Piñero will compensate for the carbon footprint by acquiring credits aimed at ecosystem restoration in Spain, ensuring the recovery of biodiversity and soil health. The company's commitment was also recognized with the Sustainable Stand award, which evaluates economic, social, and environmental criteria.
