The Spanish Civil Guard has filed a complaint against a digital content creator for illegal activities in the Sierra de Gredos Regional Park, according to sources from the Armed Institute who informed ABC.
Santaella has thousands of followers on his accounts. The Civil Guard has administratively denounced this influencer on six occasions for publishing various videos carrying out different illegal activities within the Sierra de Gredos Regional Park, a protected natural area of extraordinary ecological value.
The agents' actions began after detecting diverse audiovisual content on various digital channels, filmed in especially sensitive areas of the park. Activities such as flying drones, bathing in glacial lagoons, or unauthorized camping can seriously alter wildlife behavior, interfere with their reproductive cycles, and degrade habitats of exceptional fragility.
The Civil Guard reminds that all activity in Protected Natural Spaces must comply with current legislation, and it is necessary to have the corresponding permits to carry out certain practices. It also highlights that permanent collaboration with the agents of the Junta de Castilla y León's Environmental Service is a fundamental pillar in the joint commitment to the protection, surveillance, and conservation of the Community's natural heritage.

In the said material, the denounced individual is seen carrying out practices expressly prohibited by current environmental regulations. The range of activities is extensive. They also noted bathing in glacial lagoons, extremely fragile ecosystems where this activity is prohibited, or actions that could alter the normal behavior of species in the Park.
Damage to Wildlife
The Sierra de Gredos Regional Park is a territory of great ecological value that hosts species especially sensitive to human presence and noise, such as the Spanish imperial eagle, the griffon vulture, the Spanish ibex, and various protected species.
He also creates adventure content on Instagram and TikTok. Filming every moment of his adventures has also gotten him into legal trouble. From flying a drone without authorization in high ecological sensitivity zones to unauthorized camping in areas under special protection.
On YouTube, he has gathered more than 900,000 people who follow his travels, with stays in the "loneliest house in the United States" or explaining how he ingested "the hallucinogenic honey of Nepal".
"My adventure around the world." This is the influencer Alfonso Santaella's calling card, who creates content for his million followers on social media under the account "Alfon.what".
