Valentina Gilabert Awakens After Knife Attack

Valentina Gilabert, a young victim of a knife attack, is gradually waking up from sedation. She underwent reconstructive surgery after sustaining multiple wounds and faces a challenging recovery.

Valentina Gilabert, a young victim of the attack carried out by influencer Marianne Gonzaga, is gradually waking up from the induced coma to receive treatment for multiple stab wounds. The young woman's mother reported: "They are just now reducing her sedation, so it's little by little, and she is like waking up, feeling a lot of anxiety, for obvious reasons, due to the trauma. She underwent reconstructive surgery, and we hope she can regain full use of her hand; there is no certainty, but that surgery has already been done."

Valentina sustained 15 injuries to her chest, neck, and face, which required her hospitalization due to the severity of the attack. Although the injuries to her hands are not the most severe, her lungs were also affected and needed to be drained. Given this situation, the mother considers that her daughter's life is still at risk, but she hopes that Valentina can move from intensive care to intermediate care.

Although it was not mentioned how much longer Valentina will be hospitalized, her stay will depend on her progress and medical decisions.
