The Government of Castilla-La Mancha, through the Ministry of Finance, Public Administrations and Digital Transformation, has deactivated, at 8:00 AM this Monday, the Specific Plan for Risk due to Adverse Meteorological Phenomena (Meteocam), which was in Alert Phase - Operational Situation 0- in the province of Albacete since 8:00 AM yesterday Sunday. The deactivation of the Specific Plan has been carried out after the end of the warnings issued by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), with no incidents having been recorded during the 24 hours of Meteocam activation, and the non-issuance of new Aemet warnings for the region. The Castilian-Manchegan Executive activated this plan last Saturday following the orange-level warning issued by Aemet for heavy rains in the Albacete region of Alcaraz and Segura. The initial warning began at 9:00 AM, ending at 11:59 PM, and warned of the possibility of 30 millimeters of accumulated precipitation in one hour and 80 millimeters in 12 hours. From 12:00 AM to 5:59 AM on Monday, the 15th, Aemet issued a yellow-level warning for the same comarca for accumulated precipitation of 60 liters per square meter in 12 hours and warned of the possibility of registering 80 liters of accumulated precipitation in 12 hours. Additionally, also in the province of Albacete, Aemet issued yellow-level warnings for rain in the comarcas of HellĂn and Almansa, with an accumulated precipitation of 60 liters per square meter in 12 hours, also from 9:00 AM on Sunday until midnight. The heaviest rainfall recorded this Sunday occurred at the Fuensanta reservoir in Yeste, where 32.2 liters per square meter were recorded in 24 hours.
