Amid these apocalyptic messages, the Church reminds us of the importance of maintaining faith and hope. It urges us to reflect on our lives and our relationship with God, reminding us that in His presence what will truly matter is if we have been in the Church and worked in it.
Although referring to death may be uncomfortable in today's society, it is crucial to remember that that is where our time of choice culminates. The Church offers us Jesus Christ as Savior and provides us with the means to face that universal judgment with the certainty of having the Lord by our side.
In the face of the imminence of uncertain events, we are invited to live according to our faith, abandoning fear and embracing coherence between our beliefs and our actions. The Church prepares us for a second coming of Christ, which will mark the final judgment where hidden truths will be revealed and divine justice will be manifested.
Thus, in this time of reflection and preparation, we are exhorted to live in accordance with what we believe, trusting that when everything takes place, Christ will be near, ready to judge with justice and truth.
