Feijóo's Strong Response to Vox Criticism

Alberto Núñez Feijóo, President of PP, has sharply criticized Vox, distancing his party from their accusations and reaffirming PP's commitment to responsible politics amidst ongoing tensions with the PSOE.

The Popular Party decided not to attack Vox despite having the opportunity to do so with press cuts. Sources close to the leadership of the PP confirmed that the order was given not to attack Santiago Abascal, following reports about payments to his partner. The president of the PP, in response, warned that nothing would divert them from their objective of changing the president of the Government.

Feijóo criticized those he labeled as the "deckchair opposition" and presented himself as the only alternative to the current Government. The PP broke its equidistance with Vox and launched an attack, in response to the criticisms received, especially for supporting the pension decree and the composition of the JEC. Feijóo harshly attacked Vox, accusing the party of falsely claiming a pact between the PP and the PSOE regarding the JEC.

Beyond the disputes with Vox, Feijóo warned about the demands of independence in Catalonia and demanded transparency from Sánchez regarding his agreements. The president of the PP denied accusations of a pact with Junts in Switzerland and reaffirmed his commitment in favor of Spain and the Spanish people. Feijóo also criticized the concessions on immigration powers to Catalonia, warning about the danger of turning an autonomous community into a state for political interests.
