Young Man Arrested for School Bomb Threats in Valencia

The Civil Guard has arrested a young man for bomb threats received by four schools in the province of Valencia through an email in which he claimed to 'have everything planned' to 'kill as many people as possible.' The schools were evacuated as a precaution early Thursday morning.

According to information, the suspect stated in the email that he possessed firearms and was prepared to carry out violence. Despite providing an address and a phone number, authorities have confirmed that the address does not correspond to the mentioned location.

In the towns of Buñol or Chiva, classes in educational centers were suspended as a security measure. The situation generated a sense of concern among parents who went to pick up their children, although the presence of suspicious devices was ruled out after inspecting the schools.

After the arrest of the 23-year-old individual in a psychological care center in Paterna, it has been confirmed that the young man was related to the sending of the threats. The alleged perpetrator, identified by the initials H. F. P., mentioned in the email his intention to carry out an attack on several schools.

Although no dangerous devices were found in the schools, authorities have activated a preventive security device. Meanwhile, it is hoped that the situation will be resolved favorably and that normalcy will return to the towns affected by these unfounded threats.
