European Countries Condemn Israel's Expansion Plan

Six European countries, including Spain, Ireland, and Norway, expressed their discontent regarding Israel's new expansion plan. According to their statements, this action negatively impacts the prospects for peaceful resolution of the conflict between Israel and Palestine.

Participating states directly bordering the Permanent Six have underscored that this new plan hampers efforts to achieve just resolution and undermines prospects for the future.

The official statement contained phrases supporting a sustainable peace process and called on the international community to continue working towards resolving the conflict. It also noted that decisions made without the agreement of both parties may provoke additional tensions and hinder the achievement of long-term peace in the region.

However, official representatives of Israel did not acknowledge the criticism and underscored that the expansion is part of legal procedures in the country. In their opinion, this should not be perceived as an obstacle to peace negotiations, as they aim for stability and the well-being of the entire region.
