Julio Iglesias Denies Abuse Allegations

Singer Julio Iglesias denied on Friday that he had ever abused, coerced, or disrespected any woman, after two former employees filed lawsuits against him and the case was revealed by media in Spain and the United States. The singer has eight children, including Enrique Iglesias, who followed in his father's footsteps and became a recognized artist. The lawsuits were filed by two women who worked for Iglesias at different times. 82-year-old Julio Iglesias is one of the most commercially successful Spanish artists, with dozens of albums. According to an investigation published by the Spanish outlet elDiario.es and the American channel Univisión, the alleged incidents occurred on properties owned by the singer in the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, and Spain. The artist made his position public through a message posted on his Instagram account, where he assured that the accusations are unfounded and stated that he has never engaged in such behavior. 'I have never felt so much malice, but I still have the strength for people to know the whole truth,' he wrote. One of them worked as a housekeeper and the other as a physical therapist.
