Barcelona legend and 2010 World Cup winner Andrés Iniesta denies that his company was involved in a 600,000 euro fraud scheme in Peru.

Earlier, Peruvian media reported that Iniesta & Cía. was allegedly involved in a financial scam. Iniesta has categorically denied these accusations, stating that his company complies with all laws and is not involved in any illegal activities.

"I fully trust my team and am confident that all these accusations are the result of a misunderstanding or malice," the football player is quoted as saying by EFE.

The investigation is ongoing, and the situation could seriously affect Iniesta's reputation outside of the football field.
