Matchday 13 of the Spanish La Liga will kick off this Friday with the encounter between Valencia and Levante, two teams that are deeply embroiled in the fight to avoid relegation.

The match, scheduled for 17:00 local time, will take place at the Mestalla Stadium, which has a capacity of 48,600 spectators, and will be broadcast on DSports, according to the Argentine News Agency (NA).

Valencia is going through a delicate moment, having accumulated only 10 points in 12 matches, placing them 17th and at risk of relegation if they don't secure a good result. Levante's situation is very similar, with only nine points and sitting 19th, also in the relegation zone.

At 14:30, Atlético will visit Getafe, while at 17:00, Real Madrid will play away against Elche.

The Title Race Regarding the title race, the leader is Real Madrid, who had a tremendous start and has accumulated 31 out of a possible 36 points. However, the team led by Spanish manager Xabi Alonso cannot afford to be complacent, as they are closely followed by Hansi Flick's Barcelona, with 28 points.

A little further down, with 26 and 25 points and waiting for any adverse results from Spain's two biggest clubs, are Villarreal and Atlético de Madrid.

According to the Argentine News Agency (NA), the first of these teams to play in Matchday 13 will be Barcelona, who will host Athletic Club on Saturday at 12:15 PM (Argentine time).
