New Show 'Giants of the Past' in Cuenca

The Vice President of Castilla-La Mancha, José Manuel Caballero, confirms a new show 'Giants of the Past' at the 'Luz Cuenca' project, enhancing the city's cultural offer with immersive audiovisual experiences.


The second vice president of the Government of Castilla-La Mancha, José Manuel Caballero, has confirmed that 'Luz Cuenca' will have a new show titled 'Giants of the Past', which will project the geological environment and historical richness of the city, exploring cultural and artistic currents, the history of the building, and events that have marked modern history. The show offers performances on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at different times.

The 'Luz Cuenca' project has been very successful with the public, receiving 71,610 visitors to date. Caballero emphasized that this project aims to enrich the cultural and historical offerings of Cuenca, combining architecture, colors, textures, and music to tell a story through emotions. The vice president highlighted the international recognition this project has received with prestigious awards.

The regional government plans to add more content to the show, with a future project inspired by paleontology and dinosaurs expected to launch in September 2025. This new show, suitable for all ages, will combine science with art to provide an exciting educational experience, seeking to transport the audience to a fascinating ancient world with cutting-edge technology and visual effects.

From September 2025, 'Luz Cuenca' will feature two differentiated shows, thus fulfilling the promise of offering thematic variety to expand the offerings and enhance the visitor experience.
