Journalist Javier Ceriani revealed on his YouTube channel that the singer ended the relationship with the footballer because she was aware of his infidelities, but it was the revelation of Piqué's wild parties that ultimately led Shakira to make the decision.
According to Ceriani, Piqué participated in parties with substances, alcohol, and intimate activities with other people, to which Shakira was eventually exposed. The journalist accused Piqué of transmitting an infection to the singer, which may have even caused Shakira to temporarily lose her voice.
"Piqué was like Diddy Combs with the inflatables, with mirrors and the outrageous orgies that Piqué and the entire Barcelona squad participated in," Ceriani commented. The journalist also pointed out that Shakira was aware of the infidelities and of the other women in Piqué's life, indicating that it was not a surprise for her.
